imagine LAN, Inc. confirms that ConfigSafe software* (with the exception of ConfigSafe versions 2.00.00 through 2.00.05 - see below) should correctly process and use dates before, during, and after the transition from December 31, 1999 to January 1, 2000.
According to our tests and source code analysis, ConfigSafe versions 1.0.x, 1.01.x, 1.05.x, 2.00.06 and above will be able to accurately process date data (including, but not limited to, calculating, comparing, and sequencing) from, into and between the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, and the years 1999 and 2000 including leap year calculations, when used in accordance with supplied documentation.
*ConfigSafe software includes ConfigSafe Desktop Edition, ConfigSafe Network Edition, ConfigSafe Support Edition, and ConfigSafe Preload Client.
Display Correction File Update for ConfigSafe Desktop Edition 2.x and ConfigSafe Network Edition 2.x Users
ConfigSafe versions 2.00.00 through 2.00.05 inclusive will incorrectly display Y2K dates in the Snapshot description pane if the system Control Panel Date/Time is set to display a 2-character year (e.g. mm/dd/yy).
The correct year is displayed, but it is preceded by an additional character that should not be displayed. However, if the system Control Panel Date/Time is set to display a 4-character year (mm/dd/yyyy), you will be able to view all Snapshot descriptions correctly.

Testing of ConfigSafe software is ongoing. Please visit this page periodically for status updates. Inquiries may be sent to y2k@imaginelan.com
